Terms and Conditions
1. Payment Terms
Payment is required upfront and must include any additional fees or charges. We currently accept checks as a form of payment. By signing this contract, the client agrees to prompt payment for services rendered. This contract also serves as valid approval for future services requested via telephone, email, or web reservation, allowing Momo Dogs LLC to enter the premises without requiring additional signed contracts or written authorization.
2. Liability and Indemnification
The client acknowledges that Momo Dogs LLC is not liable for unintentional errors or omissions. The client remains responsible for their dog’s actions at all times and agrees to indemnify and hold Momo Dogs LLC harmless from any claims, injuries, bites, expenses, or damages caused by their dog while under our care. If a bite occurs, Momo Dogs LLC will report the incident to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, the client agrees to indemnify and hold Momo Dogs LLC harmless from any damage claims related to their home while it is under our supervision.
3. Dog Walking and Equipment Authorization
Momo Dogs LLC is authorized to walk or pet-sit the dog(s) as outlined in this contract. We prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs in our care and will first prioritize using the harness or equipment provided and preferred by the owner. However, if we believe that alternative equipment, including traditional training collars such as choke chains, prong collars, or other specialized equipment, would ensure better safety for the dog, we reserve the right to use such equipment. Our decision will always be made with the dog’s best interest in mind and in consultation with the owner when possible.
4. Emergency and Medical Care Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, Momo Dogs LLC is authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary. The client agrees to release Momo Dogs LLC from liability related to transportation, treatment, and expenses. Momo Dogs LLC is authorized to approve emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian. The client agrees to reimburse Momo Dogs LLC for any expenses incurred.
Emergency Care Limit: The client authorizes emergency medical care up to the limit specified in the pre-service form in the event they cannot be reached.
5. Personal Emergencies
In the case of personal emergencies or illnesses affecting Momo Dogs LLC, we will notify the client as promptly as possible, and appropriate compensation or adjustments will be made.
6. Vaccination and Licensing
All dogs must be fully vaccinated and licensed in accordance with local regulations. Rabies vaccination, as well as active tick and flea prevention, are required. The client agrees to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and flea/tick prevention upon request.
7. Termination of Contract
Momo Dogs LLC reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time, including if the client’s dog exhibits aggressive behavior that may pose a risk to our team or the community. In such cases, we will notify the client and may provide resources to address behavior.
8. Walking and Pet-Sitting Services
This contract pertains specifically to dog walking and/or pet-sitting services, and no other services are implied unless specified in writing. Upon the owner's request, Momo Dogs LLC may take dogs to designated parks during off-leash hours. The owner acknowledges that while every precaution will be taken to ensure the dog's safety, off-leash activity involves inherent risks, and Momo Dogs LLC cannot be held liable for any incidents or injuries that may occur during these off-leash hours.
Release of Liability
The client hereby waives and releases Momo Dogs LLC from any and all liabilities except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct. The client is responsible for notifying Momo Dogs LLC of any concerns within 24 hours of their return.
In case of emergencies, inclement weather, or natural disasters, the client authorizes Momo Dogs LLC to use reasonable judgment in caring for the pet(s) and/or home. Momo Dogs LLC reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the contract if the pet poses a threat to the safety or health of others. The client is responsible for medical expenses and damages resulting from any injury caused by their pet to Momo Dogs LLC staff or third parties.
Policies
1. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, please notify us of cancellations by 9:00 AM on the day of service to avoid being charged for that day’s service. Failure to notify us by 9:00 AM may result in a full charge for the missed service.
2. Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, Momo Dogs LLC will adjust the service as needed. If the weather conditions threaten the safety of the dog or walker, a brief walk will be performed, and the remaining time will be spent indoors.
3. House Keys and Security
The client must provide two copies of their house keys. One key will be used for daily access, and the other will be securely stored as a backup. Keys are coded for security and do not include identifying information. If two keys are not available at the pre-service meeting, Momo Dogs LLC can make a copy for $5.
Veterinary Authorization
During the client’s absence, Momo Dogs LLC is authorized to transport the pet(s) to a veterinarian for treatment if necessary. The client gives permission for Momo Dogs LLC to approve treatment up to the specified amount, with full reimbursement required upon the client’s return. If the preferred veterinary clinic is unavailable, Momo Dogs LLC will transport the pet to another clinic as needed.
Momo Dogs LLC assumes no liability for the loss of a pet or any issues arising from transportation, treatment, or expenses incurred.
Cats – Terms and Conditions

The client also agrees to indemnify Momo Dogs LLC for any damage claims related to their home.

Momo Dogs LLC reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reason, including if the pet(s) exhibit aggressive behavior.
By signing this contract, the client attests that all information provided in the pre-service form is accurate and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined. This contract authorizes Momo Dogs LLC to enter the client’s home as needed for services and to accept future bookings without additional signed contracts.
